Principle 01

## Strategy

Every project opens with the client’s challenge and the insight behind the idea.

Expro — Well Flow Management

What it means

We lead with your commercial problem and the audience you need to reach. An idea is the answer to a question, so we state the question first.

**What we avoid:** describing what was built before explaining why it was built.

Expro — Well Flow Management

What it means

Creative work is thinking made visible — the route we took, the routes we rejected, and what you get out of the choice.

**What we avoid:** a gallery of renders with no explanation, or creative justified by taste rather than by the brief.

## Experience

What visitors saw, did and felt, walking in. People and film, not empty stands.

Expro — Well Flow Management

What it means

A stand is a place people move through. We design the visit — the approach, the first thirty seconds, the conversation — not only the structure.

**What we avoid:** empty-hall photography shot before the doors opened, and copy about square metres instead of the visit.

What it means

Technology earns its place by what it makes visitors do, and by the data it hands back to you afterwards.

**What we avoid:** listing kit as a specification, or showing technology with no outcome attached to it.

## Production

Delivery made visible: timelines, partners, venues. Your biggest worry, answered.

Expro — Well Flow Management

What it means

The real question is whether it will be ready, on stand, on time — often in another country. We answer it up front, before you have to ask.

**What we avoid:** unevidenced claims of end-to-end delivery, with no named partners, venues or timelines behind them.

## How the five work together

The principles are not a list to admire. They set the order we work in, the proof we show, and the questions a project has to answer.

A project runs Strategy, then Creativity, Experience, Technology and Production — so you meet the thinking before the build.

### Four questions

Every project answers the same four: who are these people, have they done this for someone like me, can they deliver it, and how do I brief them.

### Every claim points to proof

If we say we can do something, there is work, a guide or a named partner behind it — always one click away.

### International is its own doorway

“Can a UK team run our European show?” is answered by Production, with named partners and venues, not by a line in the footer.
